Hey! 👋 Long time Postcrosser, first time Swap-botter.

I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my wife and our dog, Franklin, and I work at a local university. Outside of work, I'm likely being artsy fartsy or going on a side quest to a new place or weird event. Most recently attended: Ratapalooza. I love traveling and I've been to 60+ countries thanks to ~3 years working on Royal Caribbean cruise ships as a Youth Staff. I’m originally from Massachusetts, but grew up mostly in Florida. From there I’ve lived in London, NYC, Chicago, Barcelona, at sea, Seattle and now I’ve put down roots in Tacoma, Washington.

I love to travel and next trip I’m planning is a road trip to Death Valley in April. I’m turning 40 next year and it’s on my bucket list to see the stars/galaxy with no light pollution and it’s one of the best spots in the USA. I’m a dual citizen US/Canada and so is my wife. She was born in Toronto and my father and that whole side of my family is from Quebec. I hope to visit Montreal and Quebec City for the first time next summer. I love the Anne of Green Gables books so if I can squeeze in Prince Edward Island it will be perfection.

I love all things weird and whimsical. I love learning about things I’ve never heard of, discovering someone else’s random obsession, finding a great quote or weird bit of history, and going down an internet rabbit hole because one tiny thing caught my attention. Currently into learning about mythology outside of Greek and Roman gods.
